Make 2012 the time to try paddling in NEW BOATS AND EQUIPMENT plus OUR PRICES HAVE REMAINED UNCHANGED FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS. We will be open the kayak school and rentals from 31st March 2012 but you can start booking from now!!

If you are coming down on holiday to Totnes, Dartmouth or Torquay and the South Hams or live locally getting out on the water is must on your "Days out/things to do in South Devon". The villages and town that can be paddled to from Stoke Gabriel are the real highlights but are hard to get to by road. On the water you can get away from the noise, hassle, and traffic jams to take in the beautiful views and get to your destination relaxed and ready to explore!

2012 Kayak Academy Spring/Summer Programme

The Academy offers a range of kayak and canoe courses to suit all abilities. All courses are run by qualified, experienced and knowledgeable staff that will give new paddlers the confidence and skills to get out on the water safely and more experienced boaters the ability to progress onto more challenging environments.

The courses are designed to fit the seasons we paddle in, so if you are new to paddling the Spring/Summer season is ideal as we offer flat water courses which include kayak introduction days, river Dart estuary paddles, and the British Canoe Union (BCU) 1 and 2 star courses.

In the Autumn/Winter season we progress more experienced paddlers onto introduction to white water, intermediate and advanced river run courses, safety and rescue, coaching and overseas trips.
