Canoe & Kayak Adademy
Totnes Kayaks Academy was started due entirely to customer demand! We found that once they had bought the right boat and kit for their needs we were often asked to help them develop their paddling skills.
We decided very early on that we did not want to compete with local paddling clubs, who we support, but sometimes their timetables do not suit everyone and they cannot progress the more proficient paddlers. We also think it's important to keep group numbers low so that you get lots of one to one tuition, and we use only the best coaches available in the South West.
Our Spring 2010 programme will include kayak and sit on top fun days, kids holiday clubs, womens only beak out sessions, Dart Estuary guided trips, Discover Kayaking/Progressive Kayaking courses linked into the BCU UKCC (British Canoe Union awards scheme, canoeing courses (both solo and tandem), sea and white water kayaking skills as well as trips and expeditions.
